How long have you been on DeviantArt?

I had 2 accounts. One back on February 28, 2003 (japamie) and my more current active account (jmillgraphics) since August 9, 2005. I guess 12-ish years.

What does your username mean?

It's just my "business" name, J-Mill Graphics. (Japamie was a nickname because I watched so much anime. Japan Jamie).

What is your favourite type of art to create?

I enjoy many different types of art, logo design, painting, sculpting, drawing, great photos! When I comes down to it, I just like to create and see how it turns out. I want to see what mark I'll leave.

If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

Sculpting

What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?

Drawings of characters and logos.

Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

Seriously!? Well back in the day I was a big bleedman fan. I loved all the power puff stuff back in 2004. Now I really like

yuumei has great colors and lighting
ryky has amazing tutorials
TerriTheSketcher has some cool characters, videos, and has made a lot of progress
AyyaSAP has beautiful technique
loish blows me away with color
Blush-Art has sassy characters and vector awesomeness
Artgerm has some of my favorite characters done in a realistic technique
colonel-strawberry has fun illustrations that are just great

Tvonn9 - I would learn and pick up a lot from him.

How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

Terri Delgado has had a bigger impact on me than she may think. When I think back to when we talked, all the way up to this point, all I could think was, "Wow, she's came pretty far from the 'I don't like it when people watch me draw...' or 'I don't do requests' person I used to know hahaha." It put this crazy fire in my gut, and I just want to do something. That's right Terri!! I still look at your stuff, aaaaaaand I still have that drawing you gave me way back. It's been on my desk forever.  

What are your preferred tools to create art?

Pencil and paper  

What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

Around my family, at my desk, with music going.

What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?

When Miss Kika said she wanted me to do a logo for her. I love her stuff, so it was great fun.

Being on here really makes me want to try harder, and there's no shortage of inspiration out there. I'm grateful for it all.

Well yesterday was my birthday. I got to go to Sonic for the first time which was totally AWESOME!!! They have a caramel shake there that's to die for.

I have to say though, the lack of "happy birthday's" and birthday cards sort of left me a little sad

Oh well, I guess that's what I get for being born so close to Christmas and New Year's.

I always think Maine does the best he can for me each and every year for Christmas. This year he has truly outdone himself. He bought me the premium edition of CS4! He also got me some blu-rays. I got Ratatouille, Meet the Robinsons, The Dark Knight, Nightmare Before Christmas, Wall•E, and The Love Guru!

I am so grateful. I knew I'd get some blu-rays, but I never even imagined the CS4. It was too much. Now all I have to do is watch my son open his gifts on Christmas, and everything will be complete. Oh, I got my husband an Xbox 360.

Now on to my New Year's Resolution:

1) Lose about 50 pounds through exercise and healthy eating.

2) Focus on graphic design that I like: logos and some web design.

3) Work more on graphic design: post more work and be more diligent.

Those are my personal goals this year. I'm sure everyone says about the same thing.

I'm so happy that Obama is our new President. Now I feel less stressed.

I've been doing logo design like you wouldn't believe. I landed a huge one with Healthy Choice, but I'm not allowed to really show anything until February.

I am playing Little Big Planet and loving it!

That's about it right now. If anyone wants to team up with me to knock out some logo projects, I'll be more than happy to pay you IF I land the project.
